The Rotary Club of Eden Prairie just completed two successful fundraisers, our annual Wine Tasting Event which was attended by over 400 participants, which raised over $10,000 for Strive Scholarships, our Honduras Trip for storm relief, medical supplies and safe water. Our international group is planning two trips to Honduras this year.  Our other fund raiser was our 4th Annual ABC 5k Fun Run & Walk raising $8,500 benefiting the Eden Prairie A Better Chance Program which provides education opportunities to minority students from economically disadvantaged neighborhoods around the country at EPHS.
 
We have about 70 members and growing with plans to add a net 10 new members this year, increase our RI Foundation giving to over $300 per member, increase our Paul Harris Fellows by 10% and continue to have more fun then a barrel of monkeys! We do a monthly MIFR (Monthly Incremental Fund Raiser) where our leader begs, cajoles and encourages members to donate funds for RI Polio Plus using a variety of funny, self-deprecating, and congratulatory remarks to members with recent successes. We meet every Tuesday at Biagii’s restaurant at 7:30 a.m. all are welcome to join us for a fun time of fellowship and service to community.
