Eagan Rotary is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. From our original membership in 1987 of 25 members, we are now 80 members strong! We meet each Wednesday Noon at the Eagan Community Center at 1501 Central Parkway Eagan, MN 55121 - located just off Interstate 35-E one block north of the intersection of Yankee Doodle Road and Pilot Knob Roads on Central Parkway

Successful Fundraiser Event! Each year, we have an annual fund raiser in February that is the talk of Eagan - The Eagan Rotary Art Gala. In 2008, we celebrated the 20thAnniversary of this event which has become tremendously successful. The event is an evening Gala including silent auction, dinner, entertainment, and live auction. In 2007, with 350 guests in attendance, we raised close to $110,000 with net proceeds to the club totaling $88,000. Each Eagan Rotarian plays a role in making this annual event a success. The proceeds from this event help us to contribute to the health and vitality of our community.

Ethics Workshop - In 2007, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of our Annual Eagan Rotary Ethics Workshop. For this all-day event, Eagan Rotary partners with Eagan High School, Dr. Ken Goodpaster-Koch Chair of Ethics at St. Thomas University, and Dave Rodbourne of the Center for Ethical Business Cultures to lead 60 high school juniors and seniors through an intensive one day look at ethics. This district-leading program was expanded last year to include an essay contest with a prize to the two best student submissions. Over the years, The Ethics Workshop has made a significant and immeasurable impact on students as well as the Rotarian participants!

Community Grant Program - We have an annual grant program in November where we distribute anywhere between $10,000 and $25,000 to Eagan community non profits. We have a formal application process and a grant committee that reviews all applications and provides recommendations to our Eagan Rotary Foundation Board for grant approvals. We have a program that celebrates each of our Grant recipients.

International Giving

Eagan Rotarians also give back to our international community. Through member donations as well as specific international service projects, Eagan Rotary is helping our international family.
